daily diaries

As I read the monthly Todoist newsletter from Naomi, always a great read, I'm reminded of an experiment I want to run.

In my last job, a lot of people had daily calendar entries for 'diary' entries, or day summaries.

I've read in the past about it being great for reflecting and growth, as well as managing your priority list.

I rarely saw people use the time to write, except a good friend who was religious on it. He had more experience than everybody on the time by about 20 years.

At my current job, one person does it. I think first thing of every day, before others are in. He counts the day he's on in the role.

I asked him what he writes, as curiosity has always been a downfall of mind.

He writes about his mood, the things irritating him, the things he is looking forward to, details of what he's working on and where he is in it, and just other misc. notes to himself.

I think I'll start today, here, and see how that goes.
