excitement and worry
Getting a puppy is such an exciting prospect.
We've been waiting probably 8 years at this point, and been patient to ensure it's the right time. God I am excited!!
It's also kind of terrifying, knowing that I will need to get a lot of things right to turn this pup into a wonderful dog.
I suspect having a baby is this mix of feelings but 10x worse.
Hoping that today is the day we buy our first pup toy - ahead of getting them in ~7 weeks!
No idea how I'm going to handle this constant throw of feelings. It's been so hard to hold back the excitement since we decided we were going to get one for the Summer.
