stop hating on customers

I keep seeing it.

'Oh, how annoying, our customer wants do X and we need to do Y to support it. So stupid.'

Nah. They are paying. Yes, it may not align with the product and opinion and direction, but it is not annoying. Imagine you were them and you heard the devs found your request annoying!

Respect to the customers who actually talk to you and share what they want. Yes it's not always good, and yes sometimes they just need to read the docs, but fundamentally you would not have your job without them.

Treat them with kindness. Make their day better if you can, and show you care. Ultimately, it's who we build for.
