things to build today
Things I wanted today for my job:
- A visual OpenAPI spec creator
- A voice-to-digital-whiteboard tool
I got a pretty neat and simple version of the OpenAPI with like two prompts. You could easily do a few more, stick a one-time fee of $2 behind it for the YAML output, and make some dosh. I'd have paid there and then for a better version.
The whiteboard probably has competition, and is a similar vibe to what I was doing with YakStak. However, I think it has legs. Working with agents on whiteboards (like Excalidraw) is clunky and requires constant through the MCP. Something doing it native and working with you as you talk to it in realtime would be ace.
I'd have done my system design there, my domain modelling, and probably my API building.
